The Campbell River Ravens Peewee C lacrosse team followed up a championship with a thrashing last weekend.

The Save On Foods Midget B Ravens emerged out of a nail biter as silver medallists in last weekend’s spring lacrosse tournament in Richmond.

Coming off a win last weekend, the Saratoga Ventures Junior B Ravens were hungry for more as they turned their focus to the Nanaimo Timbermen. The Timbermen travelled to Campbell River for a Sunday afternoon game at Rod Brind’Amour Arena.

Marine Harvest, Campbell River Youth Soccer Association U18 Boys enjoyed a “three peat” last weekend as they claimed their third back-to-back Island Cup Championship with a commanding victory over Gorge FC of Victoria. This season the victory was much more emphatic than any other year as the boys won 7-0.

Approximately 1,200 youth soccer players took part in a fun tournament in Campbell River last weekend.

After placing second at the Vancouver Island Regional Synchronized Swim meet in Victoria, on April 9, the Campbell River Competitive Synchronized Swim Team brought home the gold medal for their division at the Jean Peter’s provincial Synchronized Swim Championships held last Friday in Nanaimo.

The Campbell River Gymnastics Association sent five athletes to the Delta Invitational for their annual competition on May 7-8.
