Campbell River kicks off the brakes with CIMX Round 6 at Motorcross Track

Engines were revving at the Campbell River Motocross tracks over the weekend

The Campbell River Motocross Association hosted Round 6 of the Vancouver Island Motocross Championship on June 22 and 23.

"The event went great with 183 sign-ups and no major accidents all weekend," said Tim Fluter, the president of the Campbell River Motocross Association.

There were around 24 categories to race in, such as Tykes to Intermediate Open. The busiest category was the Junior Open GP-MX3, where 16 people competed.

The Campbell River Motocross Association hosted Round 1 of the Championship at their track on 7021 Gold River Highway in April. They will host Round 9 on September 28 and 29.
