Campbell River Hospice Society’s A Walk to Remember directly assists in providing end-of-life and grief care to children, youth, and adults in Campbell River.

The public is invited to join their upcoming fundraiser, Walk to Remember held on Saturday, June 8 at 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in Hospice’s Serenity Garden.

Join participants in collecting pledges and walking a 3 km loop, returning to the Hospice Care Centre. There will be a meaningful memorial ceremony following the walk with Leslie Haynes-Hodgins, M.S.W., R.S.W., Hospice’s lead clinical counsellor, along with a beautiful butterfly release in memory of loved ones, signifying letting go and the continuation of life after loss.

A Walk to Remember is an event for our community to join in raising funds to assist Hospice in providing their specialized services to our community.

Hospice touches everyone at some point in their lives and becomes a vital resource in someone’s journey through loss.

As Hospice continues to expand and adapt their services based on the community’s needs, they rely heavily on fundraising and donors to support their programs. Your participation in A Walk to Remember directly assists Hospice in providing end-of-life and grief care to children, youth, and adults in Campbell River.

Join Hospice for a day of support, compassion, and the chance to win community-donated prizes and awards.
