Each year the Relief Fair in Black Creek raises money to support a project in an area of the world needing help. This year raising funds to aid families in the Democratic Republic of the Congo who have been torn apart by war is our goal.

The fair has gone by many names in Black Creek: The Mennonite Fair, the World Relief Sale and Black Creek Spring Fair to name a few.

But these fairs all celebrated community and generosity and raised millions of dollars for MCC (Mennonite Central Committee) each year.

Make a difference as you shop at the Ten Thousand Villages booth, listen to local music, enjoy delicious food ( sausage, perogies, rollkuchen), get some great items at the rummage sale and the amazing plant sale. Join us for the many fun family activities as well.

MCC events provide opportunities to learn, connect, celebrate and contribute to positive change in communities around the world — including yours.

MCC was formed in 1920 to provide food for families suffering from famine and disease in southern Russia (present-day Ukraine). Since then, MCC has expanded their mission to work for relief, development and peace all over the world.

One area of relief, MDS Mennonite Disaster Service, responds to the many devastations the disrupt peoples lives. Aid goes out internationally responding those lives impacted by floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, drought and war.

Over 100 years later, with your support, this dedication continues.

All ages will enjoy this country style fair happening on Saturday, May 25 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the United Mennonite Church 2277 Enns Rd, Black Creek.
